i’ve been waiting for this
i have been frequently dining at au bon pain for roughly six years now, in various locations, most often in manhattan and cambridge. every single time, i stare at and consider the little sign informing me that if i don’t get a receipt, my purchase is free. tonight, it finally happened: i didn’t get a receipt.
and i chose not to call them on it.
