- Me: "J--, why'd you write 'Single' on your writing folder?"
- Student: "You know, because."
- Me: "Why? Because what? What do you think that means?"
- Student: "You know..."
- Me: "No, show me."
- My student then proceeds to raise her hand and shake it back and forth - a la Beyonce and "Single Ladies." Best put a ring on it.
