flavor - Cucumber, as in the gimlets at Bourbon & Branch, and the Cucumber Piesporter Yogurt at Jeni’s.
meal - an evening of small plates at Tilth… mini duck burgers, sweet corn ice cream, all locally sourced.
performance - the queens (and judges) at Drag Idol at Neighbours (watch the videos!).
hotel - Kensington Riverside Inn in Calgary, despite my initial reluctance (“No Starwood points? And it has the same name as the old folks’ home in Columbus?”) it was amazing, all of the cozyness of a B&B with the comforts of a nice hotel.
wine - barolo, with the malbec coming in a close second.
airline - Virgin America, no contest. Massage chairs and delicious food in first. A fun entertainment system (with great, free CC content!) throughout. Now, how about a decent frequent flyer program?

hidden alley - Macondray Ln, an oasis just a few blocks from my apartment.
adventure - midnight sailing in the Bay, sans lights (also, best attempt at suicide).

vodka - Hangar One. I’ve seen the light… wonder if I can get it in BOS.
